01 / THE SPECIES

The name evokes.
The species confirms.

Beluga comes from the Huso huso sturgeon. Knowing the species is the first step towards appreciating what is in the tin.

Huso dauricus is kaluga. Crossbreeding between species produces hybrid caviars. They have distinct identities and profiles: the word “Huso” alone does not make a caviar Beluga.

02 / IRANIAN ORIGIN

The memory
of the Caspian.

Iran holds an essential place in caviar culture. Cofré chooses farm-raised Iranian Beluga, selected for its grade, texture and palate profile.

Origin tells part of its story. The selection of each batch, its storage and the care taken in serving complete the experience.

03 / THE ART OF SELECTION

The difference
reveals itself.

01

The pearl.

Large, well-defined pearls with a delicate resistance. The texture invites you to pause.

02

The flavour.

Marine notes, hints of nuts and a buttery nuance. Depth without excess.

03

The lingering note.

The pearl yields and the flavour lingers. It is the moment that guides our selection.

04 / THE FIRST TASTE

The essentials,
nothing more.

Serve it well chilled, keep the tin on ice and use a mother-of-pearl spoon. Taste it on its own the first time. Then let its nuances find their place at the table.
